Modern contactless payments

  • Payment wristband if you don’t want to take your card or wallet with you. It is waterproof and available in four colours: red, white, purple and black
  • Phone payments. All you have to do is activate mobile payments in the Citadele app. This functionality is available on Android phones with NFC support
  • Apple Pay, if you are aged 13 or over. Pay with Apple Pay in stores and online without filling in registration forms or creating new accounts

What access rights are there to the mobile app?

Up to 17 years (including). If the monitoring regime has been selected for the online bank, then both the child and parent (or guardian) can use the app to see account balance, the card, purchases and X REWARDS points. If the special regime has been selected for the online bank, the young person will be able to use the app to make transfers, activate the card, change the PIN code, and block and unblock cards. 

Young people over the age of 18. All operations are available in the mobile app: money transfers, card activation, blocking or unblocking cards, and PIN code changes.
 

How do I apply for the X REWARDS prize and discount programme?

To receive X REWARDS discounts from our partners, you must notify the cashier before making the purchase that you will be paying with an X smart card. After registering at xrewards.ee, each purchase with an X smart card will earn X REWARDS points (2 Euro = 1 point ). The points you earn can be exchanged for various prizes. Discount locations and prizes can be viewed on the X REWARDS website.

How quickly can I receive my X smart card?

When you apply for an X smart card at any other branch, you will receive your card by mail within one week. 

When you apply for an X smart card in the Citadele app, you will receive your card by mail within one week. 
This will consist of two letters: we will first send your X smart card before sending your PIN code a few days later.

What if I lose my card?

Up to 17 years (including). You can block your card in the Citadele app or by calling 77 00 000. A parent or guardian can apply for a new card by calling 77 00 000.

Young people over the age of 18. You can block your card in the Citadele app or by calling 77 00 000, while you can apply for a replacement in the online bank or by calling 77 00 000.
