From 18 young people can make payments to phone numbers, as well as receive payments to their phone number after registering it in the Citadele app.

The payment sticker for children and youth under 16 (including) is free of charge.

Task tool

Task Tool is an addition to Citadele app, empowering customers to create tasks for their family and friends. Moreover, it helps parents discuss finances with kids and lets kids try earning their first pay.

To use Task Tool, both the task sender and task recipient must be Citadele clients, have Citadele app installed, and have activated an option to pay to the mobile phone number. The sender must be at least 18 years old.
In the app go to More > Tasks and create your first task. Choose a task from the category list or create your own. Set a description, select a due date and amount of a reward. Ready? Press Send!
Once the task is completed, the recipient marks it as done and the sender can approve it and pay the reward.
Don’t want to do the task? You can also decline it.

Aged between 7 and 17 (including): you can only apply for a C smart card with your parents at a Citadele branch. Parents can also apply for a C smart card if the child is not present.

How do I apply for an C smart card, what documents are required?

Citadele customers can open an account for their children in online bank - Correspondence with Bank → Open C smart KIWIE bundle for minor.

Up to 17 years (including), if your parents are not Citadele clients - if you're a parent who wants to open an account for their child, there's no need to take the child with you!
Remember to bring: the parent or guardian’s passport or ID card, the child’s birth certificate or the child’s passport / ID card (from the age of 15). Guardians will also need to bring an Orphans’ and Custody Court confirmation of guardianship or a certificate of guardianship issued by the Orphans’ and Custody Court.
